Cibolo Hills Is Taking Shape Along Rapidly Growing Business 287 In North Fort Worth

If you haven’t driven along Business 287 between Avondale and Saginaw recently, you may not know about Cibolo Hills, a new housing community that’s already taking shape and is pre-selling its first phase.

A few months ago, I told you about the growth along Highway 114 west of I-35W that’s forming a new neighborhood of shops, restaurants and large housing communities. Just a few miles south of all that development is additional progress toward housing new and moving North Texans. Cibolo Hills is worth mentioning because it will offer 700 homes from respected builders.

Getting To Know Cibolo Hills

Located beside Business 287 and promoting a 30-minute drive to either Alliance Town Center (quicker, I would think) or downtown Fort Worth, Cibolo Hills offers a new housing option from Meritage Homes and Trophy Signature Homes. Construction on the new development began in late 2019 and features uniform 50-foot by 120-foot lots.

Property amenities are expected to include parks, trails and open spaces as well as a pool and other features at an amenities center.

Meritage Homes, the seventh-largest public homebuilder in America which has built more than 120,000 houses, will build 350 homes at Cibolo Hills of six floor plans ranging from 1,650 to 3,100 square feet. Trophy Signature Homes will offer 350 homes from 1,600 to 2,700 square feet. Homes will start at just under $300,000.

Developers tout the proximity to Eagle Mountain Lake as a big selling point. The lake and the parks that surround it are popular even with locals who must drive much farther to access them.

From Cibolo Hills, it’s just a quick drive over to the main Highway 287 and a jaunt down to where it intersects with I-35W to find Target, ALDI and a range of other shops and restaurants. Alliance Town Center is a bit north. If you prefer, travel southward into Saginaw for shopping and dining – and continue south as Business 287 becomes North Main in Fort Worth.

More Options Than Ever Before

As Fort Worth has grown, options for homes in the central part of the city have become limited, but that doesn’t mean you can’t live near the heart of the city and easily access the lifestyle and amenities you want. Cibolo Hills is closer to the city than many other suburban communities and offers affordable homes. It might be the right place for you – at least for now.

As a buyer’s agent, I work with homebuyers and those who want to build homes. I don’t work with sellers. That means when you let me help you through the home-buying process, you get 100 percent loyalty, 100 percent of the time.
